What the hell were they thinking?

In Windows Explorer, I like having the thumbnail view for picture folders. But about a month ago, the captions disappeared telling me what the folder name was. And just now, I figured out why it did that and how to undo it: You have to hold Shift and double-click a folder with thumbnails in it to undo it.
Now, what I want to know is: Who is the moron that coded that? I mean, that’s just really fscked up. Who the hell would do something that retarded? Oh wait, I forgot. This is Microsoft we’re talking about here, retarded stuff is a given for them.
