iPad 2 vs. the New iPad

I just wanted to publish these pictures I took of the difference in quality of the standard iPad 2 screen and the new iPad’s Retina display. The difference is staggering, and simply awesome.

My iPad2 screen looks like the new iPad pictures in this comparison. I bought it in December. If that’s the big improvement, I have no need to upgrade at this time.

Looks pretty good zoomed in. How about a comparison of the screens at a normal 18″ viewing distance.
