AeroWeather has been updated. New changes include:

  • Changed the location validation. It now accepts a city, [state/country] or a zip code (for users outside the US).
  • Added support for Celsius.
  • Fixed a bug where AeroWeather wouldn’t remember the city name when you closed and re-opened it.

Simply run the application and run the updater when prompted.

    I’m running vista business – it gets updated temp info but never changes the aero color. Any thoughts?

    The celcius support doesn’t allow temperatures below 0 degrees. That is pretty much useless unless you live in the tropics.

    Thanks so much for enabling international locations — this program looks excellent. I’m having trouble getting it to work though. I can validate a location, but the weather info never seems to get drawn down: the tooltip displays current temperature as ?°C and the last updated field displays as N/A, even after clicking ‘Update Now’.

    I’m in the UK — I’ve tried setting both UK and US locations, have switched between °F and °C, and have tried turning my firewall off temporarily: all to no avail. Any idea what may be causing the problem?

    Shocking netiquette to reply to my own post, I know, but…

    I’ve just installed the latest version of AeroWeather (as of 21st November), and at first experienced the same problem as before. Then I tried changing the config to ‘temperature’, and updated — problem solved. I’ve now switched back to ‘conditions’, and everything *seems* to be working. However given that the tooltip contains no ‘conditions’ information, I can’t be sure!

    That’s nice but I hate ClickOnce based installers. Can you please put MSI installers for all of your apps?
