AeroWeather has been updated. New changes include:

  • Fixed instances where Aero would get disabled and then re-enabled, and AeroWeather would not update the glass color.

Simply run the application and run the updater when prompted.

    Appreciate you creating this nifty tool, but living in Australia it doesn’t enable me to apply it to my own area. Was wondering if it could be further updated to apply worldwide?

    I’m a software development student in Australia – I could probably even see if I could help ‘localize’ it if need be :)

    Any chance this can be expanded to work in Canada, and/or further afield? I’d love to use this, but as it’s US only, it’s kinda impossible.

    Any chance you’ll ever add support for Canada? :(

    I have mine set to Redmond since the weather’s more or less the same as here (Vancouver), but it’d be nice to have local weather.

    great app. Just, why it is limited to US locations? I’m not in the US and would like to use it also.

    I LOVE this, it’s really cool, but unfortunately I cannot use it because I am not based in the US. Is there some way of grabbing the necessary info using lat/long coords?

    I live in the Czech Republic – not really helpful info, but thought I’d mention it :)

    I just installed yesterday, but AeroWeather won’t update! Win7 Pro, zip: 43031. I tried some other zips, and got 1 of them to work once. It hasn’t updated since. Clicking “Update Now” doesn’t work. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled.

    Whenever I start the application, my location is no longer validated. I also get the “verifying application requirements” thing briefly before it starts. But the other settings are properly loaded.

    Other (smaller) issues: Time format doesn’t adhere to system settings (I use 24-hr format, no AM/PM nonsense). It is possible to start multiple instances of the application. Looking at settings.xml, I see that you use an RSS feed for getting the weather? It’d be nice to indicate in the program how often to expect new updates. The log.txt file appears to be deleted every time I restart the program (was hoping to find useful diagnostic info there).

    Hi, I’d like to know do you have any plans to include international weather codes, and metric values in AeroWeather, also is there any language file I’d could translate it to Croatian languege … all thr best from Croatia
